Women's Federations, College Students Care for Rural Children in Anhui

 March 15, 2024

Initiated by the China Children and Teenagers Fund (CCTF) and supported by B'in Music (Beijing) Co., Ltd., the "Guarding Childhood: Growing up Together" 2024 Winter Vacation Children's Care Service activity has been carried out across the country during this year's winter vacation.

In Bengbu, Anqing and Huaibei of East China's Anhui Province, the local women's federations have joined the efforts to bring care and warmth to children whose parents work away from home and children who live in difficulties.

In Guanqiao Village of Wenchang Sub-district in Tongcheng, a county-level city in Anqing, a group of college students and women volunteers sent gifts to local children, and extended festive greetings and best wishes to them.

They also organized children to visit elderly people who live alone, make dumplings for them, and help them clean their houses.

With the support of volunteers, children completed their drawings of Loong (traditional Chinese dragon) during a painting activity held in Dongguan community of Longmian Sub-district to welcome the arrival of the year of the Loong.

Other places in Tongcheng organized children to watch films about safety education, read classical books, and share with each other about their family traditions.
